I've actually played tonnes of 8 and 16 bit games in emulators, but usually other things than Nintendo franchises. I'm not sure what first party Nintendo franchises I really like, aside from the Wario Ware games.

I'm just not really that into 8bit/16bit console games in general. When we go back to the 80's, arcade games are more my jam. And from the 90's and up, it's more PC games and Playstation games.

It does control less awesome than Super Metroid though so let's just concentrate on Super Metroid first. If Mic can play Super Metroid and complain then we should show up at his house like Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

I don't always think the move to 3 dimensions does a game any favors.

The way I remember it, Prime was sort of clunky and slow. Very, very slow. None of all that mad jumping around that you see in old Metroid games.

I've only watched people play Prime and this is not even close to correct.
