Reduce Me to a Pathetic, Sobbing Excuse for a Man

I'm pretty sensitive so it doesn't take a lot for my eyes to vomit. That said, the especially sad movies would probably throw me quivering on the floor. I'm addicted to sadness.

Mondo Bungle 07-30-2018 03:12 PM

WWWP 07-30-2018 03:23 PM

Dancer in the Dark always does it for me. It's a slow burn but it burns so deep.

Mondo Bungle 07-30-2018 03:28 PM

that's what set off this binge of tears

Broken Circle Breakdown upset me more.

Not sure about that one Charles.

Is Into The Wild sad? What about The Green Mile?

If it can make Quentin Tarantino cry then you should respect it.

Cuthbert 07-30-2018 04:41 PM

E.T. is quite sad imo.

Love that film.

The Batlord 07-30-2018 04:47 PM

Oh and Land Before Time.

I was totally going to mention that one too but wasn't sure if it was too ~romantic for mondo

Mondo Bungle 07-30-2018 05:34 PM

Into the Wild is very sad

I love romance

I really miss those days when we would trade minimal synth songs in plug.dj. You also use to wish for all analog synth gear. It was good times.

YorkeDaddy 07-30-2018 05:39 PM

The recent horror film Hereditary

I'm writing my own romance novel

DwnWthVwls 07-30-2018 06:35 PM

Documentaries about the animal farming industry and Michael Vics dog fighting ring made me furious and tears. Actually any video or story about animal abuse almost always makes me want to become a serial killer.

It's a game I used to like to play called "Let's what else is alive inside me so I can kill it".

grindy 07-30-2018 10:22 PM

I watched it with a beautiful, naked girl lying next to me and still had tears in my eyes. Powerful ****.

Mondo Bungle 08-01-2018 02:49 PM

grindy 08-01-2018 02:50 PM

No, it's unconnected.

Not wall to wall sad. It's also very funny. But I thought the ending was a punch in the gut.

WWWP 08-01-2018 06:20 PM

Mary and Max is lovely, and Cafe Penguin Orchestra ftw.

Always gets me.

Also "Water for elefants", "The TIme Travelers Wife", "Warhorse", "About TIme"...too many too count but "Marley and Me" was a bit unexpected so it tops my list.

MicShazam 08-02-2018 01:48 AM

Looking over my movie shelves, I don't have a lot that I would downright categorize as "sad" movies.

But if you're feeling all jolly and in high spirits after watching this one, then you need to get your head examined:

Normies making 3,027,855 movies and books about the Holocaust so that we might never forget while patting ourselves on the back for never forgetting <<<<< me listening to racist yahoos make bad music

MicShazam 08-02-2018 07:13 AM

Have you seen the movie? It's got an interesting perspective, since it's about persecution of idealistic youths, not about persecution of jews.
