I was never all that good at this game (or any game like it), but it was fun enough. The two PS1 platformers (since that's where I know Rayman from) that I liked the best were Skullmonkeys and Pandemonium.
Skullmonkeys https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gp0JcQ2O5bY Pandemonium https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GiCjkJZ5vtU I remember both being balls hard, just like Rayman was. Probably even more so in the later stages, so of course I never saw the last stage of either. |

I will say that the thing I remember loving about Rayman is the detached arms and legs. Makes for a lot more freedom and fun with certain abilities throughout the game. I'd play through that game again right now if I wanted to. I'll always love it.
