I just wish I hadn't lost my platformer mojo with age. That **** is hard now.

I've found some difficulty with modern day platformers but I honestly think I'd have more trouble with older ones. I'm so used to platformer games now just having very tight and precise controls. It'd be extremely difficult to go back to clunky controls.

I thought I was rusty at action games too, but then earlier this year, I started playing arcade shoot 'em ups again. A lot. After a while, I started beating all of my old high-scores. So much for getting rusty with age - and I'm older than you. I'm sure my reaction time will get worse with age, but right now, it's good enough. Just gotta get those routines into your fingers again. |
