Since we have Fallout 3 starting today, why not put New Vegas up today as well. Poll and talk about what you love or hate about Fallout: New Vegas

I fucking love the glitches. Not even joking or being a smart ass. I don't know if any other game, intentionally or otherwise, has made me laugh my ass off the way this and Oblivion did.

It is also a small touch but I loved that they changed the HUD display from green to orange for New Vegas. I feel like it fit the mood better. I know you can switch it yourself but I feel like the color is perfect for the New Vegas atmosphere.

Top shelf. 10/10. Much luv. Stalking the desert with a custom Anti-Material Rifle with both explosive and incendiary ammo is like being the unseen hand of God.

This one gets a solid 10 for me too. Or 5/5. W/e. Yeah I have both Fallout games at a 10. I can't choose.

Also, anyone wanna talk about Dead Money? What a a ****ing great DLC that made me pull my hair out many a time.

I was always saving DLC till later in the game so I haven't even gotten to that yet.

Oh god it's good but it's tough. Definitely worth it tho. The setting for the DLC is amazing. It's up there with my faves. I'd say Far Harbor is my favorite Fallout DLC.

Favorite companions, go!

I got a three way tie between Cass (cowboy chick), Veronica (Brotherhood chick), and Boone (sniper dude). Cass is awesome, fits the theme of the game perfectly, and as a sniper her shotgun is mad helpful; Veronica has the best personality, actually makes me laugh, her quest is actually interesting, and while as a melee character she can get in my way it's usually not a problem; and Boone can be a bit of a downer but he's sick and the Spotter perk is great for sniping. I probably roll out with Cass a bit more than the others just cause she's a cowboy and her shotgun gives her enough range to not get in my line of site as much as Veronica. Or maybe I play with Veronica the most cause she's just so durn loveable. Maybe 50/50.

Danny Trejo ghoul is the best, obviously.

I love Boone. His attitude about everything can be really funny in certain situations. I remember watching someone play NV with Boone and every time he would take his beret away, Boone would say in a casual tone "i'd really like my hat back please." You can tell it really effected him not having his hat. Gotta love broken dialogue in games sometimes.
