That makes me sad.

Also: I noticed Tokyo Xtreme Racer is on the list. Who put that on? I wouldn't pick it, but respect anyway!
Never played 1 and not enough of 2 to have an opinion, otherwise that might very well be up there.

Definitely among the handful most memorable JRPG experiences I've ever had, and I've play a lot of that kind of game back in the ps1/ps2 days. Suikoden II especially had a really good story. And I loved how every game has 108 characters that you can add to your castle and/or party.

I also have love for 4. The first Suikoden game I played and it gets **** on a bit by fans but I got my own ****ing galleon, and everything was so bright and fantastic looking.

I gotta admit I didn't even get out of the starting area. It turned me off in less than half an hour and I just went straight on to Suikoden 5 instead.

Isabel from 5 was my absolute ****. Always dead center of my front line.

Spoiler for big image:

I can't really remember who I used in 5, but I played Suikoden II way more, so I recognize some characters when looking at a list of them.

I know this anime chick was usually on my team:

There's also a couple "mature lady knight" type characters in the game that looks like Suikoden II's take on Isabel from 5:

Suikoden II had generally more grounded character designs where no one is carrying a boat sized sword or anything like that.
