There's even a 100 Years War Dynasty Warriors game that's probably historically ****ed but who cares?
Holy **** that looks amazing.

It's Berserk. It's Dynasty Warriors. Of course it's amazing.

Samurai Warriors 2 was the highlight of all of the Warriors games and spinoffs. That's my honest opinion and if I ever yield on it, it will be only to avoid having a fight about it. It's the closest to perfect those games ever got. After that, things slowly went downhill.

Samurai Warriors 2 was definitely a highpoint for me.

I've played some of the later games a lot too. Gundam 3 and Orochi 3 most of all. Some of the games disappointed me a lot too. I honestly think DW8 is crap and DW7 wasn't much better. Or 6 for that matter. *sigh*

I have Orochi 3 but haven't played much of it. I hear it's considered by many to be the best game in the series. Gundam 3 is crack for me though. You play the same maps and short missions over and over again but I've never gotten tired of it. I don't even like Gundam all that much. But letting you choose between a million pilots and also switch Mobile Suits AND customize them AND AND AND grind for Suit plans sucks me in for weeks. I'm tempted to start it up now and try to finish the random missions I haven't gotten around to yet.

Duo with Deathscythe is my ****ing jam. But those lower level Gundams that aren't super stylized or powerful with just rifles and normal lightsabers are hella fun too.

The really fun thing about Orochi 3 is how you will frequently unlock all sorts of odd characters with fun moves to play around with. I played it for god knows how long but still hadn't seen every character.

Something I liked a lot about Gundam 3 was how you could dash out of all sorts of moves in combat and just generally move around more than you can in other Warriors games during combat. I never saw anywhere close to all characters and mechs. Ridiculously much stuff to unlock.

Hell yes. The dash is great. That's a surprisingly large part of the fun of the Gundam games. They're so fast-paced and twitchy but without being actually twitchy. You can just bail on a bad fight in a second and it makes playing on the hardest setting fun even if you can die in two seconds if you **** up the wrong fight. Not to mention you can just move between fields so quickly. Also the Gundam games have the best technicolored nonsense graphics. Never underestimate technicolored nonsense graphics in a Dynasty Warriors game. They're so arcade and the Gundam games give Marvel vs. Capcom a run for their money.

It doesn't really matter that much but it is a downright atrocity that Batman Arkham Aslyum/City are not represented on this list
