What's On Your Kindle?
Hell, I don't know: maybe none of you guys have one, but I resisted for a long time, being one of those "I prefer the feel of a book in my hand" guys. Once I started to read for Karen though, and we ran out of books she owned, needed to buy more and had to wait for them to arrive, I quickly decided Kindle was the way to go. Once I saw how easy it was to use and how convenient it was to download books (and how cheap they were) I decided to get one myself. In the end, being a cheap bastard, I just got the Kindle app for my phone, but it works just as well. So what's on yours, if you have one, or any other reader? I'm always adding new books I'll probably never get to read, as they're so cheap, and here are the latest ones I've bought, just today. The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire (Edward Gibbon) Bruce Dickinson - Maiden Voyage: The Biography (Joe Shooman) The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich (William Shirer)

Shirer is a great writer, TH; I think you'll enjoy his book.
My Kindle collection is pretty sparse---mostly free classics.

It's pretty amazing the books you can get for free, isn't it? I got the entire novels of Dickens, Wells, Shakespeare ... but I do like to buy books other than classics I want in my library, books I'm more immediately interested in, and they're very reasonable indeed.

I've had a copy of this saved on my phone ever since I was turned onto it. It's a great and inspiring read
