Default Favourite Actors/Actresses

How come there isn't already a thread for this? Maybe there is but I can't find it if so. Anyway...

Daniel Day Lewis: shines in everything (and I mean everything) he acts in
David Warner: Love this man
Jack Lemmon: One of the funniest men on the screen without actually trying. RIP. Pair him with Walter Matthau and you had a recipe for comedy genius.
Sir Laurence Olivier: nuff said
Robert Carlyle: Really like this guy
Angelina Jolie
Sigourney Weaver
Goldie Hawn
Harrison Ford

I also love Clint Eastwood, but he has a very limited range, ie Dirty Harry
and I never rated Wayne: the man had no emotion and I don't know how he became the screen legend he did.

There are a couple of other threads but not a main one really. At least not one that's gender-specific. Stay woke TH.

His best roles imo. I respect how much work he put into Lincoln but I wasn't a huge fan of that movie.

Amy Adams
Cate Blanchett
Christian Bale
Elle Fanning
Emma Stone
Jake Gyllenhaal
Joaquin Phoenix
Kristen Stewart
Marion Cotillard
Matthew McConaughey
Michael Fassbender
Naomi Watts
Noomi Rapace
Paul Giamatti
Rosamund Pike
Sigourney Weaver
Viggo Mortensen
Willem Dafoe

Maybe I forgot a few.
Some of these haven't been in many great movies, but they're on the list because I see great potential in them and have loved at least 1 or 2 performances from the person.
