I've seen two other documentary films on the subject - Krautrock: The Rebirth of Germany (2009) and the other I believe was Romantic Warriors IV: Krautrock (Part 1) (2019), the latter of which had long stretches of interviews in German with no subtitles but was still worth screening. Parts 2 and 3 are scheduled for release in 2021 and 2022 so I'll stay tuned.

While I understand and appreciate the global influence of Kraftwerk's releases from Autobahn onwards, I personally prefer their more freeform and organic sound of their first three releases, Kraftwerk I, Kraftwerk II, and Ralf und Florian. I made sure to secure copies of that trilogy along with Autobahn for my kosmische Musik library. Love the classics!
