He's actually funny despite running along the same SEO-driven theme, that's why I respect him more than anyone mentioned here.

And Conan is whitty as f*ck. He's self-deprecating. He doesn't take himself too seriously. His new show isn't as good as his Late Night NBC show was, but it's still light years ahead of Kimmel, Fallon, Meyers and Colbert. Conan's show feels like CONAN's show, not just a late show with a bunch of writers.
More like *whitey

And Conan makes cheap partisan hack cracks all the time. I get what you mean about how he's a bit different humourwise, but he's gotten incredibly formulaic with it over recent years and made that uniqueness redundant. Plus, I can tell you as a pretentious person that self-deprecating humour is mostly used as a distraction from a huge ego. I mean, to think that I'm actually lesser than all of you is pretty hysterical, right?

I rarely see you express self deprecation, but I do get the sense that you have a big ego. And it's probably well earned. You're smart, articulate and verbose, and you have somewhat tenable musical abilities.

You don't notice the self-deprecation because I try not to be as redundant as Conan O'Brien is.

I guess you just don't express it well on the internet. I guess I've noticed it a few times but it came across as being ironically self-deprecating and since self-deprecation is already ironic it was just smarmy. Like you're not even willing to mock yourself enough to commit to self-deprecation so you have to give a super big wink and a nudge so we all know it's not coming from a Trollheart place or something.

Conan's remotes are still funny but ya, his show used to be better and more irreverent. He used to have that masturbating bear bit that made no sense but he kept pushing it. I think at one point he put the pope hat on that bear and that Texas walker bit he used to do as well. I dont think he does that kinda stuff anymore.

TFW "In the Year 2000" was still relevant.
