I'd say after the final stage of the chunin exam you can skip to shippuden if you like. The culmination of that exam is one of the highlights of Naruto for me.

I've been watching this hilarious show with my boyfriend and we can't stop watching it every day we binge 4 episodes. Sadly there's only 2 seasons out so I'll be all caught up soon. I love dark humor. Oh btw it's really, REALLY gory so if you're not into that don't bother. The first indication is basically a scene out of The Exorcist.

There's some classic battles in the Chunin exams for sure, including a defining moment where Naruto takes it to the next level and wins his fight with his new rasengan... but yeah I'd agree about skipping the series. It's something you could come back to if you felt it in the future by chance, but I definitely think Shippuden is worthy of an attempt.

I mean the mother****ing Mangekyou Sharingan wasn't even a thing in the original series. All the best things weren't even things.

Carlito's Way.

One of the best movie coda's ever.

I don’t know why exactly but I love Carlito’s way. I’ve watched it many times.

It’s beautiful

Great soundtrack too

It might be my favorite role Sean Penn ever played as well
