I truly have no idea why Dawkins wanted to waste is time on such an idiotic conversation.

I mean, I do know why. He wanted to "spread the word"
But in all honesty, she should've chosen a better "religious" television program.
If the interviewer is this dumb, then the entire TV station has to be this dumb.
And the viewers.
So what's the point?

On the second hand, I think Dawkins might've explained his point much better.
The way he says it here, is mostly understandable for people who are familiar with the theory of evolution, not for people who were tought something entirely different their whole life.

Early in the episode keep an eye out for child actor Butch Patrick who famously played Eddie Munster on the 1960’s sitcom The Munsters.

I started watching the entire series beginning with the first episode last year and just got around to seeing that episode a couple of weeks ago. Didn't realize that Butch Patrick was in it. I'm usually pretty good at recognizing actors but I missed that one.

Went looking for a Billy Wilder film and found this old chestnut capturing ordinary folks on the town on a Sunday in pre-Nazi Berlin. Wilder apparently did the screenplay though there isn't any script, which probably means he did the editing. Requisite stuff for any decent filmmaker. Not crazy bout the soundtrack. Put on some jazz. They could still do that in 1930.

people on sunday (1930, siodak/ulmer/gliese/siodmak/zinneman)
