Give Throne of Blood a try. It's my fave. Macbeth adaptation. To me Kurosawa is contemplative not kinetic, though there's occasional excitement.
But if you're looking for flash I can see wondering what the fuss is about.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Though for the life of me I can't remember which color/faction ended up being triumphant!

Blue (right?). Since Red and Orange annihilate each other.
YES it's like Heathers! I can't remember either though

That's a great one yes. Which one is the one about the doctor? I recommend that one too, funniest one I've seen besides 7 samurai

Red Beard. Funny is a funny description. Last collab between K and Mifune. Almost no action in that one except when Mifune comes out of his MD bag to whoop some marauder butt. Ok, that's pretty funny.

Yes that's the part I was thinking about (and honestly the only thing I remember from the film except that I liked it). Legendary.

Rififi (1955, Jules Dassin)

The perfect jewelry heist plan in the middle of Paris goes south. Dassin classic.

C-SPAN3 American History TV: George Washington’s Military Career Douglas Bradburn

Bradburn really emphasizes the high regard of Washington as a military commander. Perhaps because I’m from the New York area and have always heard about Washington’s losses, retreats and general blundering in this area during the Revolutionary War that has given me a very different impression of his skills in the field.
