*dances* ..Really annoyed by how difficult it is to find long, simple field recordings-- 1930s-50s ideally-- of machinery/factory sounds (on youtube) without any superfluous editing. (Do I need these things? No. Do I even know what I'd do with them? No, I just want them) Though I usually end up finding lots of great old industrial and harsh noise stuff instead which I am very much okay with. |

Oooh I've heard that one (first video) I think, actually-- it's great. And I know there's many versions of that second video floating around but for whatever reason they're just not enough for me. Not that that would stop me from playing it in a car for a friend during a long roadtrip.

^ Youtube has been recommending that one to me for over a week now. I guess I should watch it. (I love how Youtube has so many subtle ways of saying, "Hey! You're a big ol' pasty loser with lots of deeply uncool interests, right? Here you go!")
