Might help if you think about it like this: What would you think of a country invaded America and murdered thousands of civilians for something like preserving their superpower reputation or keeping oil prices low? I agree that committing war crimes is unnecessary, yes.

^ That may be the American way, but it's not quite the whole picture though, as fighting wars can also involve defending countries and preventing civilians being murdered.

Yep, I was presenting an American perspective for mindy since that was where he was coming from. The people defending their countries don't have the invasion element, you're right on that one.
