It's a film that I don't have an opinion on. It didn't excite or amaze be but it didn't muster any bad feelings either, it was just what it is.
In my opinion, it's Lynch's strangest film, moreso because it feels weird without a sort of conceptual explanation of being weird (it's easy to see what the purpose of the weirdness in Inland Empire for instance, is) On the contrary, I wish more scifi movies where like this Dune adaption, scifi shouldn't be as "accessible" because it often ISN'T overall as relatable as we like to think.
