The Mini Series Thread

Man, I remember back in the late '90s/early 2000s, mini series were the shit. There were a whole bunch that were really fun, like Arabian Nights, Merlin, and The 10th Kingdom, even if they were a bit cheesy. I'm kinda in the mood for more awesome mini series to watch, so anybody got any recs?

Glad to have found another fan, though. So, what was your favorite part? I bet it was the part with the magic mushrooms and Procol Harem.

Edit: Also, I haven't seen either of the recs above. I'll check 'em out.

Carlos is excellent. I haven't seen many miniseries but that's probably my favourite.

Alright, I just finished Carlos. Fucking harrowing stuff. Like Scarface, but without the disco (although the soundtrack of Carlos was pretty sick at times).

I watched The Lost Room. Twas groovy. I also watched a mini series from the 80s called Shogun that had Toshiro Mifune in it.
