Definitely the superior children's cartoons, but once you let adult cartoons enter the mix it's all over.

As far as appreciating a series over a long period, yeah, but Roadrunner cartoons are two minutes of ambrosia.

Is this just for tv serials? What about movies in the Dreamworks/ Pixar vein?

Speaking of anime I'm a complete ignoramus when it comes to that category but I finally saw Spirited Away which I loved so now everything else will probably be judged against that when I watch it.

Everybody whose familiarity with anime begins and ends with Hayao Miyazaki should watch Evangelion to see the opposite of what anime can be. TH, you will be expected to partake at some point, so take note. Think I'm gonna go watch the Evangelion Rebuild movies tbh.

I think it was decided not to include anime. And I'm for TV cartoons only, as otherwise it just gets too messy with movies, shorts and whatever - your Pixars, Disneys, Despicable wotsits.

I'll be watching plenty of anime once I get to that time period in my journal. Till then, hold your ponies.
