It was also the first ever fully-computer-animated half hour TV series. That counts for something.

No, who cares? And if we're talking about fully CG shows then I present to you Starship Troopers: The Roughneck Chronicles. Top 5 kids cartoon for me, and the only reason it isn't iconic is because the network never gave it a chance or a timeslot that wasn't retarded. But if you could be bothered to be up at 5am on a school day then it should have rocked your ****.

Nobody's helping me on the list for the 2000s though, and as far as Spongey goes, he began transmitting in July 1999, so that makes him a candidate for the list of the 90s.
You missed the entire point of my post and my timeless classic argument, and I didnt want batman gone because I don't like him.

as for Duckman, it was one of the first properly "adult" cartoons I ever saw, long before any of your Adult Swim stuff, and it was animated by the same guy who went on to do a little show called The Simpsons, and was based on a Dark Horse Comics character. It stays. Just because you have never heard of it doesn't mean it wasn't iconic. It was. It ran for four seasons.
It was not iconic it was hardly even known, Daria and BnB got way more response than Duckman on Mtv. Also, I have heard of it and enjoyed it very much.

Now I want to go watch Daria [which lasted for FIVE seasons, btw]

Batman: The Animated Series is most definitely a timeless classic. Comic book fans revere it above all other comic book cartoons by a good margin, and arguably all other comic book shows and movies to an extent. And everyone else are on its dick as well. You're simply wrong on this issue.

TV Guide Magazine's 60 Greatest Cartoons of All Time - Today's News: Our Take | TVGuide.com

At #7, and Batman Beyond is also on the list btw.

I am willing to concede that point, I didn't know how popular it was.. I just went on about how crappy Batman is to get you going, I don't mind Batman/Xmen being on the list. I think the ones I mentioned need to also be fit in there somehow though.

The 90s list leaves a lot to be desired based on my memory.

Also, the Jetsons need to get on the 80s list somewhere.

Some honorable mentions that might be worth squeezing in:
-Ducktales
-Chip n Dale
-Schoolhouse Rock
-Jonny Bravo
-Doug
Bolded 1: Htf did I miss Ren and Stimpy? Bolded 2: Pokemon is anime, and we already agreed we weren't going to include any anime, based on Batty's advice.

I thought these lists are supposed to be things when you think back to that decade youre like "Hey remember this?".. No one thinks that about half that list, you want the period cartoons, not the timeless classics. And Spongebob might as well be 2k+ while we are at it.
Bolded three: how did I completely miss the point when this is exactly what you said?

And none of you millennials are helping out on the 2000s list, thanks a lot. I know ****-all about cartoons after 1990s...

If someone wants something replaced, make a case for a) why the one on the list should be bumped and b) what you would replace it with and why. I see Batty wanting to ditch ReBoot but not telling me what he would replace it with. Same for Duckman. Give me an alternative, huh?

Also, bear in mind that there are hundreds of cartoons but I need to restrict each decade to a max of twenty, unless the consensus is we should widen that? But then we'd be here forever. So try to understand that you may suggest another ten cartoons for a list but there simply won't be room.

I already said Tiny Toons. And It would be nice if room could be made for Spider-Man and Superman, but there may very well be more deserving shows.

Yeah I think we have enough Spidey and Supes as it is, and Tiny Toons is just a spinoff from Looney Tunes, which I've represented by Bugs Bunny, so I don't think that would fly. Certainly not bumping something else for it. You might not like ReBoot but at least it's totally different. If we start putting in spinoffs there'll be no end and the list will grow to the size of ISB's record collection, and then there'll be no room left for anyone on the planet....

Hmm. It did win a lot of awards though. What say the rest of you? I've personally never seen it, not that that particularly matters.
