I feel like La La Land is definitely going to take the Best Musical or Comedy spot.

I also need to see Nocturnal Animals so badly. I ended up watching Fantastic Beasts instead of it the other day and only because I figured Fantastic Beasts wasn't going to be in my fave cinema anymore so I had to watch it before it left.

How did it compare to the other films? It felt like too much franchise cash grabby grabby for my taste.

I liked it as my first introduction into the world. I haven't seen any of the other Harry Potter films. I know this is a spin-off essentially but it was good enough for me.

Best Picture

Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)
American Sniper
Boyhood
The Grand Budapest Hotel
The Imitation Game
Selma
The Theory of Everything
Whiplash

I know this is going to come off contrived since I didn't see Birdman. I really feel like Whiplash should have won Best Picture with Boyhood being a very close runner up.

Films that came out in 2014

Raze(I'd love to see her starring in more of her own movies)Zoe Bell
Whiplash
Devil's Due
Ride Along
Dear White People
The Guest
Boyhood
The Signal
Gimme Shelter
Non-Stop
Robocop(Don't care what anyone says, it was still pretty damn good.)
3 Days to Kill
Neighbors
Need For Speed
Veronica Mars
Divergent
Sabotage
Transcendence
X-Men: Days of Future Past
It Follows

The Angriest Man in Brooklyn
Edge of Tomorrow
Transformers: Age of Extinction
Deliver Us From Evil
Sex Tape
Unfriended
The Purge: Anarchy
Guardians of the Galaxy

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The Expendables 3
Step Up: All In
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For
Nightcrawler
The Equalizer
Gone Girl
Inherent Vice
John Wick
Interstellar
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1(My first Hunger Games movie and it wasn't that bad.)
Horrible Bosses 2
Kingsman: The Secret Service(Surprised me how great it actually was)
Taken 3
Selma

Google is your friend

it's an indian film trilogy about a boy coming of age a la Boyhood. i don't find the two all that comparable beyond that, but i think it's worth noting for the people that think Boyhood is some amazing cinematic achievement.

I thought apu was an acronym of some sort but now that you say it's an indian film then it's probably the boy's name.

Also why would I Google when I can just have you tell me? Plus you are the one bragging about how great it is.
