Can he really be faulted for not reading Spawn? It's like looking at the front of a 90s fruit snack box on bad acid, with writing to match. Not that I don't like 90s fruit snacks, but they're not required eating.
Not knowing about Sandman though... how does that even happen?

When was the last time you read Spawn? It's got a pretty nice concept, but the execution... well, Todd McFarlane was clearly an artist. For the definitive Spawn experience I'd just chuck the comics and go watch the cartoon. Especially the second season.

OMG I just Googled "Todd McFarlane" to make sure I'd spelled his name right, and found the most glorious uber-douche pic ever. I can't hate on him entirely though. That's a Zerg necklace. This has avatar potential.

It hasn't exactly aged well. It's far superior to something like old school X-Force, and I still read a fair amount before setting it aside, but it's still a 90s anachronism. And it doesn't even have Keith David.

I'm voting off Green Arrow.
I recall you calling Spawn a teenage's boy wet dream.
