Do you have a ps1 emulator?

Plz keep in mind my suggestion to get a controller. if you had one you would do alot better in those games.

I'm probably gonna look at getting one. Looks like I can get one for around $25, so that's not awful.

I think you could find a cheaper one at a Goodwill store. if you have a ps3 control laying around those could work too.

Could you do a bit about grocery stores? Like is Dove bar a soap bar or an ice cream bar? Or about products with censurable names like:

How the heck do you play laying on your side? That's why you suck.

Nice game choices though.

I don't really have any place good to sit in front of a computer. And I'm just so used to using the computer while laying down that... eh.

Oh, and I do have a PS1 emulator, but I still haven't figured out how to get it working. Gonna have to get on that.

I'm thinking of starting a StarCraft/Brood War playthrough, too. I imagine having to deal with the jacked up unit pathing might provide for some humorous commentary.

I'd watch that, there's also a Civilization port for the ps1 with funny acting scenes from the senate.

Part 1 is actually going up as soon as I edit the last five seconds from the video (short but boring story).

As hilarious as my mother knocking on my door during a video would be, it's just that the hotkeys to start and stop recording for some reason don't work when StarCraft is playing, so I had to exit the game and manually stop recording, so there are a few seconds of me doing that that I needed to cut.

**** it. I edited the video in Youtube after already having uploaded it, and it's taking forever for the edit to go into effect, so I'll just post it anyway. It's not like you get to see my Brazilian fart porn folder.

Part 1 of this vid was pretty funny, i actually lol'd when you circled the guard and called him an assh*le however, i had to sit through 6 boring minutes of game exposition before you said something. if you could edit those 6 minutes into 3 or 2 minutes this vid would be alot better.

I'm not gonna edit the game's intro. It's part of the game. I might blab a bit during less important scenes, but when it's the opening "cut scene" then I'm gonna let it play out cause it's important. It is what it is.

So does anyone have any criticisms of what I'm doing? I'm not so concerned with whether or not the games are fun or interesting to watch, or whether I'm making them fun or interesting, since I'm still figuring out what it is that I'm doing and what kind of games I'd be most suited to doing.

One thing I've definitely noticed while watching my videos is that I have a tendency to start to say something, but then not finish the sentence, which makes it kind of hard to understand what the **** I was even talking about in the first place. Kinda the same thing is when I comment on something without first pointing out what it is that I'm commenting on.

That happens to a lot of Let's Players. Game Grumps often never finish their sentences for example. But yeah, something you could work on.

You might to change your youtuber name at some point. if you search for arnold palmer on youtube the golfer shows up not you. :p:

That could change if you became famous but maybe you should change your youtube name to something that reflects a gaming channel. just a suggestion.. oh, and regarding your commentary, i think it's fine i would say focus more on the editing skills.

Dude, Game Grumps. I've been watching their playthrough of Sonic '06 (apparently one of the worst AAA titles of all time), and it's ****ing hilarious. I'm at part 30, and they seem to be well into the game, and yet there are over a hundred videos in the playlist. I'm fascinated as to why this should be.

Their recent playthrough with Steve-o was funny as hell.

I've seen that on my recs, but haven't looked at it. I kind of want to watch their videos when they still had Jontron, as they had better energy, but from what I've seen of their videos with the new guy (can't remember his name) they're still pretty top shelf.

You should start doing your own. I use this program, which is free and pretty easy to use (and there are easy to understand guides to optimize your settings). I have a ****ty webcam and a laptop with no power to do anything beyond StarCraft 1 without FPS issues, and OBS still makes it easy to make my videos.

And I fully intend to keep up with this. Whether I try to make a Youtube career out of this, just talking to myself while playing games makes the experience even more fun.

So it's all downhill from there? :( Still, those moments when Egoraptor pretends to be fed up with the game and just walks off are true comedy gold. That part right before the lava level bossfight when Jontron gets stuck on a wall is one of the best things I've ever seen.

His name is Danny sexbang and he also is the frontman of NSP. alot of ppl prefer the jontron era but i prefer Danny. btw if you like when Ego Raptor freaks out check out their Battle kid playthrough. it's short but hilarious.

Check out the one I posted. Their hatred for the game is expressed in pure hilarity. I'll definitely check out that series when I'm done, though. Those dudes just hate Sonic.

Believe it or not I was entirely sober for that, though my severe suckage might imply otherwise.

Don't have the time to go through even close to all of this but I thought the Mega Man video was hilarious for the first half but it ended up getting a little repetitive simply because you were just replaying the same stage over and over again. Watched a little Starcraft but I'm not really into Starcraft so that was hurting my enjoyment. If you're into doing more platformers I would love to see you do Donkey Kong Country 2 which still stands as my favorite overall game of all-time. Incredible soundtrack too so that's a plus

I'm gonna get a controller, as I'm pretty much helpless with just a keyboard. Hopefully that'll happen soon as I'm kind of helpless to play any kind of platformer without one. I'll probably keep going with a few of them in the mean time anyway, just for the lulz, but it's kind of disheartening to be so thoroughly pwned by a game when I could at least do marginally better by playing it as it was intended.

And you're a queer for not liking StarCraft.

You could probably get through some of the simpler platformers with just a keyboard (I know I have in the past), but starting off with Mega Man 1 is a tough proposition. Even with a controller that game is hard as ****.

The later Starcraft titles where you actually play against people look a lot more interesting than the boring ol' running-through-barren-hallways crap that you were doing in one of the more recent videos
