All the movies I have not seen

You'd be surprised. I hardly ever get to the cinema and seldom watch movies on telly or anywhere else. DVDs?? What are they? I would hazard that of all the big movies out in the last year I've seen precisely none.

So test me. Gimme a movie and I'll tell you if I've seen it. Chances are I have not. Modern ones more likely but I'll bet there are a lot of classics I haven't seen either.

FTR, the type of genres I avoid are generally horror/suspense (so that's Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday 13th etc all out), scary ghost story things (Paranormal what?) and superviolent action movies (your Bad Lieutenant, Oldboy and such).

You won't believe the amount of movies I have never seen. Maybe you'll be able to convince me to watch one, but don't count on it. My time is precious. If nothing else it'll give you an opportunity to snort derisively and use the term "Dude, what?" a lot...

I'm quite certain he hasn't seen Office Space, guys.

There Will Be Blood

Trollheart 11-15-2015 05:42 PM

No to all, including Office Space II, III and IV: the Return of the Killer Stapler, which is what I'm sure you meant by posting it all those times.

Next!

Actually I must try to see TWBB: Daniel Day Lewis is such a fantastic actor...

Dude, as soon as I saw the thread title, I already knew it was Trollheart before I even saw that he made the OP.

Key 11-15-2015 06:44 PM

So what's the point to the thread? You'll just say whether you've seen the movie or not? Will you even watch the movie?

My Top 8 Irish films, or movies about the Irish. (Sorry I couldn't couldn't come up with an even Top 10) I really wouldn't know how to rate them as far thē best on the top of the list at #1. They are all a must see in my opinion. The Departed take place in America, but deals with the Irish mafia/gang, it's very tense movie. It is packed with stars: Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson, Mark Walhberg and Martin Sheen, and directed by Martin Scorsese. The Commitments is a must see for any music nerd... umm I mean music fan. The Secret of Roan Inish is story told from the perspective of a young girl, Fiona and it involves silkie. Waking Ned Devine is wickedly funny. Circle of Friends is a chick-flick worth seeing. Angela Ashe's is based on the autobiography of Frank McCourt. It's sorta a tradition to watch The Quiet Man on Saint Paddy's Day. The Field is a depressing version of The Quiet Man. I be disappointed if you didn't get to see any of the top 5, I love those movies.
  1. The Secret of Roan Inish (1994)
  2. The Field (1991)
  3. Waking Ned Devine (1998)
  4. The Departed (2006)
  5. The Commitments (1991)
  6. The Quiet Man (1952)
  7. Circle of Friends (1995)
  8. Angela's Ashes (1999)

Pet_Sounds 11-15-2015 07:56 PM

In all seriousness, have you seen any James Bond?

I know that is directed @TH, but the funny thing you mentioned it. I never saw one, from beginning to end, on TV, cable, DVD etc until last week when my friends drug me out to see it in the movies theaters.

Despite your posting Diana Rigg in the Snog thread? :yikes:

What's the Neoverdict? (Spectre was good, but other instalments might be more to your liking.

Just check out the Sean Connery Bond movies and you will be won over. Watch Dr. No tomorrow or be a bitch.

From Russia With Love > Goldfinger > Dr. No.

DwnWthVwls 11-15-2015 08:28 PM

I never saw a full Bond movie either. They don't seem all that entertaining.

I didn't mind the movie, it was decent. The last two movies my friends and me went to were action movies too like Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and Taken 3.

I'm working my way up but I'm pretty much in the same place as you Troll. I even got one of my film-lover friends to write me a list.

I do love movies though. I have seen a lot, but not nearly enough.

I didn't get a chance to see that one, so I didn't mention it. I only saw Waking Ned Devine, and Angela's Ashes once. The other movies I saw more than once.
