The developers created the game in a vault somewhere in Nevada, actually.

I always knew Fallout was a secret, government initiative from Area 51. I just wish I knew what their insidious plan is.

It was just a matter of time till the New World Order put their plan into effect to reduce the world's population by nuclear holocaust.

After I get out of class today, I'll be doing the same.

Mr. Charlie 11-09-2015 04:48 PM

A lotta people are criticising this for being the same old Bethesda game with bad animation, poor lip syncing, a whole host of bugs, and last gen graphics to boot.

I'm getting really tired of bug stricken games, it's unacceptable, and so I think I'll wait for further feedback and the inevitable patch before deciding whether to play it or not.

uhhh what is this 2005 or something? no I'm gonna ****ing download it at midnight because every next gen console and every computer in the world can do that

Mr. Charlie 11-09-2015 05:18 PM

I guess they want it on physical disc, not digital. Can't say I blame them. Physical discs can be lent to friends and sold on at a later date.

YorkeDaddy 11-09-2015 05:31 PM

Talk about a complete waste of time and space

I'm sure as hell never selling Fallout 4

Mr. Charlie 11-09-2015 05:41 PM

Well, you're buying digital, so you couldn't if you wanted to. :P

Personally I always go physical when possible. I like having it in my hands, and knowing that even when my hard drive dies and the game is eventually taken off the servers, I still have the option to play it. I don't want others deciding I suddenly can't play something I paid for.

That's an unfair generalization. Alchohol is responsible for a massive amount of deaths every year, from drunk driving to alchohol poisoning, but does that stop you from drinking? Everyone has their preferences, and though many people abuse their choices, it doesn't mean that everyone does. There are thousands of people who collect physical media, careful to not throw it out carelessly, and should they ever decide to get rid of it, they know there are many others who would gladly take it off of their hands. Just like how there are plenty of people who drink alchohol, but know how to handle it.

Besides, as society becomes progressively dependent on computers and digital media, with a need to be online at all times, the pollution created in the generation of the electricity needed to sustain this lifestyle harms the world as well. So either way, we're screwed. But at least we get to choose the position.

Literally didn't read LOL

Physical games don't need to exist anymore, it's unnecessary and only exists for "collectors" or the technologically challenged. At this point the negatives outweigh the positives.

Oriphiel 11-09-2015 07:01 PM

You're a very hateful person, and I know that you don't like me. Maybe you're justified in feeling that way. But in the end, I can tell that there isn't a single person on this forum that you hate as much as you hate yourself.

By all means, feel free to throw another TL;DR at me. On a forum where people present one point of view while ignoring all others, I suppose it doesn't really matter what anyone says, as long as we all get the attention that we came here for.

YorkeDaddy 11-09-2015 07:06 PM

No I definitely hate you more than I hate myself

Yes I actually read that one, I've decided to impose a 4-line maximum to posts of yours that I'm ever gonna bother with, and even those posts are typically terrible (like that one)

It's all good. This is actually relatively peaceful compared to our usual conversations.

Fair enough. But are you sure that you hate me more than you hate yourself? I couldn't help but notice that you ignored me when I tried to bring up valid points in the conversation, but suddenly got defensive when I stated as much.

You constantly start fights with people, throwing around personal attacks simply because they disagree with you. When they inevitably retaliate, you relent and ask the forum for forgiveness. You know for a fact how people are going to respond to your attacks, and yet you continue regardless, putting yourself through the same situation over and over again. And in the end, all you get from it is a tiny sliver of attention, but it's not the kind of attention that lasts, and so the cycle repeats.

All you've ever done to me is insult me a few times. Though insults do bother me, I can handle them, and they give me a chance to practice my come-backs. But you degrade yourself every day, relying on bullying people to the point of being banned, all to fulfill a sense of satisfaction that you think you have no other avenues of attaining. You've abused yourself far more often than you've ever abused me.

It's nothing personal, just an observation, and I seriously couldn't be less angry as I write this, so don't get the wrong idea.

YorkeDaddy 11-09-2015 07:39 PM

I literally tell him specifically about the 4 line rule and then he rants for like 10

Like it's hard for someone to waste their time more spectacularly than that

Oriphiel 11-09-2015 07:48 PM

If you can't refute something that challenges your point of view, rather than throw up a TL;DR, maybe you should think about reconsidering your stance.

Oh, and my apologies for writing more than four lines. I like to converse. It's kinda why I joined a forum.

YorkeDaddy 11-09-2015 07:50 PM

I like to converse too, but only with decent human beings whom I actually enjoy conversing with and whom actually have interesting things to say

The Batlord 11-09-2015 07:51 PM

Calm down, ladies. There's enough electricity for everyone.

Oh come on when you can trigger the **** out of some poor sap with such minimal effort it's hard not to take the opportunity every once and a while. You know this as well as I do

And yet I'm the person that you spend most of your time here talking to, the person that you claim to hate the most.

Do you really think that I'm angry? I'm not, and I have no intention of fighting with you, as not every conversation has to be a huge be-all-end-all pissing match. I'm just trying to understand why you ignore me when I bring up valid points, but become irrationally angry when I question you, as if you want, or need, me to be some enemy that is trying to harm you.

YorkeDaddy 11-09-2015 08:22 PM

Wow talk about a big ego if you actually think I talk to you more than anyone else l0l

I've spent quite a lot of time talking to actually good members like Trollheart, Ninetales, Frownland, Goofle etc. Over 2,000 posts and maybe 50 of them have anything to do with Douchey Creamcheese

And that marks the end of this conversation. Let's get back to how physical video games should no longer exist

The Batlord 11-09-2015 08:25 PM

I give that ****storm a 6/10. Nice personal attacks, but it lacked an interesting topic (f.ex. when JWB dropped "***gy" in casual conversation).

Physical releases exist for those who prefer them, same goes for digital. Each have virtues, each have downsides. As someone who still enjoys playing 10+ year old games, I like physical. But as you allude to, digital is a much greener system; no denying that.

YorkeDaddy 11-09-2015 08:39 PM

Thing about this is that computers have reached a point where any 10+ year old game is incredibly easy to emulate and honestly the games run better than they ever had. I love old games too, most of my top 10 all-time is composed of games before the year 2000 and I will never have a problem finding ways to play those on my computer. The only difference is that I'm using a different controller, which I can definitely see as being less immersive but it still gets the job done.

Oriphiel 11-09-2015 08:59 PM

Forgive me, but we're not quite done here. If we don't settle this now, we're just going to fight until the sun explodes. We can settle this in public or private, but either way it has to be settled. I was perfectly happy to discuss the future of physical media, but you decided to insult me instead, and this is the result of that decision.

Yes, you talk to other posters. That was never in question. But you're forgetting that almost all of those 2,000 posts were made before I had even joined. My point was that, after our first argument, you've spent pages upon pages conversing with me, throughout a great deal of threads, talking to me more than any other user at that time, even after you stopped posting regularly. By your own earlier admission, you like to try to "trigger", aka troll, me. What I'm asking is why do you feel the need to do that?

Oriphiel 11-09-2015 09:20 PM

Holy fuck. I just had an epiphany. One of those "what the fuck am I doing with my life?" moments. And now I know what I want to do.

Hey YorkeDaddy, forget about all of this shit. Sorry for being a dick.

The Batlord 11-09-2015 09:25 PM

Was a ****storm just ended by one of the parties admitting fault? That's... never happened before. I feel kind of dirty.

YorkeDaddy 11-09-2015 09:31 PM
