Favorite Movie Posters
Anybody else like posters? I think I'd love them even if I wasn't a huge movie fan. Most are done by independent artists and come out so good. I consider them works of serious art, not just advertisements for movies. Anyway, share your favorites! Here are mine...
Blow Up Enemy Jaws The Thing Rosemary's babe Eraserhead The Exorcist I'll post more later. |

Lost In Translation: 20 Baffling Foreign Movie Posters | Cracked.com
This is probably my personal bias, but the Polish school of movie posters (it really exists) is something I find equally fascinating and bizarre. Both the graphics and translation, for example here is the 1st Terminator poster.... only it's not called the Terminator, it's Elektroniczny Mordeca - electronic murderer. Why ? Terminator in polish means apprentice. |
