there are other game mods with other maps, aram and whatever that other one is called. plus a lot of the event modes are rly fun. the one for PROJECT was ****in’ rad.

So you don't get tired of the same map, the same turrets, the same lanes, over and over and over again? It's still hella fun, but I'd love it if they had like fifty maps or something, maybe with randomized selection. The way RTS games do it is you host a game and it's in a list of other games you can choose from, whereas in LoL you choose the map and mode and then get set in a game, so randomizing the maps would be a fun way to eliminate SR fatigue. I know that's not gonna happen since Riot is so set on pro-gaming and wants everyone doing the same thing, but Jesus can SR feel way too familiar at times.

nah, i disagree. i just explained how i feel every game of league varies very heavily from the last bc of things like itemization, runes, and the ban/pick system. i’ve never felt tired of the map, and i feel map awareness is so crucial that even sticking on one map is hard enough.

different strokes for different folks, i guess. i enjoy my competitive gaming to be fair, fun and challenging. league does all of that and more. if i’m looking for variety i will probably search out a different game, maybe an rpg.

I love LoL don't get me wrong, but just playing the same map over and over just feels so calculated and sterile in the same way as those standardized tests we're bitching about. Like, give me at least some sense of variety or else it's just an amateur level eSports farm rather than a game that's meant to be enjoyed.
