changes coming to ranked next season, there’s a dev blog on the website but for a short run down

TLDR of these big changes:

* New matchmaking **based on position**, except at Master+
* **Two new tiers**, so people don't feel stuck in Bronze/Silver/Diamond as often.
* **4 divisions** within each tier (instead of 5)
* Dividing the season into **3 splits**
* Loading screen **border will change** during season
* Testing **MMR changes in normals** sometime beforehand

positional matchmaking is interesting but i wonder how practical it will actually be. does this mean a gold 3 one trick Yi will be matched against a silver 5 when he’s autofilled supp?

anyway should be an interesting concept. i like the idea of less divisions simply because promotional series are too frequent imo. if it was me scrap the 2/3 between each rank and make it so you only have the best 3/5 to go between divisions.

jensen destroys mid lane as per usual

licorice duels in top really well

sven walks around jungle aimlessly until he can feed mid or jg a free kill leading to the 4 man dive of either top or bot lane which snowballs the game

he’s basically the Master Yi that throws your promo games

ehhh Contractz was one of two ppl to finish the split with more deaths than Svenskeren.

the other one was Huni but unlike the other two Huni provided more than enough kills to justify it, and he was typically targeted and camped by other teams.

if I’m not wrong Jensen has been here long enough that he isn’t using up an import slot meaning C9 could bring in a Korean jungler if they opted to do so. Levi is in academy league right now so they’d be stupid to not try to get him, he actually can’t be worse than Sven.

can someone more educated than i tell me about Yasuo being played in pro play because i had seen him 2 or 3 times in my history of watching league and now at this year's MSI he's been blind picked in every other game.

pretty cool that the tournament meta isn't "let's all copy the koreans" though

it's basically just been have your carry take yas and play around for the entire game

makes sense cause he's so dangerous while ahead, caps made some insane plays yesterday on him.
