Pretty sure there were some parts in Boyhood that did this. It's just a real ass movie

The part in Boyhood where he goes off to college hit me hard.

Yeah, Patricia Arquette's last scene in Boyhood is devastating.

I like it when you can get emotionally invested in comedy, these two spring to mind. The final moments of Blackadder Goes Forth and the UK Office.
I suppose I should leave a Doctor Who clip, Jo Grant's leaving gets me every time. Especially as Jon Pertwee was genuinely upset she was leaving. Katy Manning (Who played Jo Grant) tells a story where she said Jon Pertwee would give her a lift to BBC television centre on the back of his motorcycle every day. She said the following week after filming her last scenes she waited outside for him as usual and then began crying when she realised that he wasn't coming for her. That's how close they were in real life, also the guy she's marrying in the show was her real life boyfriend at the time. |

that movie was also one of my favorites as a kid. it was my first dino flick. i'll be honest though it doesn't make me very sad. probably cause it's about dinosaurs the only movie i can recall making me cry was this one video lacks subtitles but i assume you can get the gist. |

The backstory is so memorable and succinctly told but the rest of the film is just a dull adventure. |
