Anyone seen this yet? Let's get the ball rolling!
The young actress really is incredible. So charming. Worthy youngest recipient of an Oscar. Some of the cons they pull off are really well thought out, very original ideas and they're a joy to watch. The chemistry between the two actors does very well to convey what is simple a beautifully written script. The relationship between the two characters is just really well built, so complex and interesting. Film also mixes tragedy and comedy together real well. Most of my enjoyment mainly came from the script and performances. Direction and cinematography are pretty basic. |

To be honest, I think I'm sitting this one out. I saw it last year and didn't enjoy it that much. I honestly don't feel like re-watching it again. I'll throw some comments in though.
You're right, Tatum O'Neal was adorable when she was a kid. I liked her more in Bad News Bears though. There was a car chase right? I liked that one. Wasn't there a stereotypical pane of glass involved? Comedy right there. |

James, if this eventually only attracts you and me, I'll still do it. I like the idea of more than one person discussing the film. Paper Moon may have just been an unattractive film. Hopefully the next one turns more out.
That being said, we're past two weeks. |

I had watched the film about a year ago and nothing really stood out to me beyond the great chemistry between the two leads. Everything else I thought was pretty good but nothing stellar.
