I've made my selection for when it comes around to me.

Come and See, a russian film about nazi occupation of parts of russia durring ww2
Be warned: this movie is insane, but imo few soviet films are better (maybe the odd Tarkovsky film)

I still haven't gotten a chance to see the fountain, but I'll get to it ASAP.

Count me out. It's something I'd love to do, but with the Pysch AC to run, school, and other responsibilites, I just don't have the time. Maybe at some point down the road. Best of luck, though.

Okay I'm gonna have to search for a good movie because while I love movies I don't exactly have a huge knowledge of "important" movies so I'll keep searching.

So far here's what i have for my pick when it comes up
- 12 Angry Men
- Schindler's List
- The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

Who cares if it's important? Pick a film you like and, if you're that kind of person, one that people will respond well to.

What are "those kinds of movies"?

I love a good screwball comedy. The point here is to watch things that we normally wouldn't have watched. I'm down for monty python every bit as much as I'm down for Stanley Kubrick.

There are no restrictions for which film you pick. Hell, if everyone picked downer Oscar worthy type films a comedy might be a nice change of pace. The only thing that should factor into your decision is if it's a good film.

Don't let that keep you from nominating The Room, either.
