I enjoy it too but I prefer when it's a lot funnier than what Chappelle put out which is why I'm so hard on him. Nomsayin?

Jimmy Carr is the English dude I was thinking of.
Steve Hughes is pretty good too. If you open up podcasting as a new brand of standup (which I think is valid), edgy comedy is abound. It's really not under threat.
