I've watched so much Game Grumps over the past couple weeks that the "Hey, I'm grump! I'm not so grump! And we're the Game Grumps!" intro is becoming a part of my childhood. I'm 29.

My newfound love of Game Grumps has led me to JonTron's own channel. Dude's definitely the best of all the Grumps, and he has videos that, while not quite as good as Game Grumps at its absolute best, are still pretty phenomenal. Whatever the truth about JonTron's departure from Game Grumps, he clearly would have lost interest whatever the case, cause his own videos are far more lavish productions than anything Game Grumps does. And occasionally he gets a sponsor to give him the money to really do some crazy ****, like his Star Wars games series, and the videos are like little movies. He could never have been satisfied by just sitting on a couch every day and doing the same thing over and over again.


So far as I know, this is the first time JonTron and Egoraptor had been in a video together since the three or fours years that he'd left Game Grumps. Kinda epic, and the video itself is massive. This is what happens when you give a guy with talent and vision a decent amount of money to do something.




I've still only watched a small part of his time on Game Grumps, but I was still very aware of his predilection for singing even in such a short time. I always figured the dude had at least a decent singing voice, and this is proof that he in fact does. You can certainly hear him reaching for some of those high notes, but that touch of OTT showtunes cheese gives the cover an energy and sense of fun that makes it surprisingly entertaining. The animations are pretty fantastic too. I've watched this video quite a few times since last night, and it's still awesome.

^I've seen every single Jontron video. His comedy is right on par with what I like. I've never seen a non hilarious video of his. His editing is amazing too.

Obviously it would be nice if he released videos in a more timely fashion, but he seems to be picking up the pace in the last couple months. Here's hoping he doesn't just go the easy route that so many other Youtubers do and start releasing lame, five-minute, bull**** videos that have nothing at all to do with the premise of the channel (I'm looking at you, Pewdiepie). It would be so easy for him to say, "**** it," and do that, rather than put in the time and effort to do the kinds of videos he built his non-Game Grumps name on, but it would be the total antithesis of his channel.
