Wick was a joke if you're looking for logic. The worst for me was the chick assassin in his apt. punching his stitches like 4 or 5 times, making the wound explode with blood and then he's up and walking right after.

I turned my brain off about 15 minutes into the flick.

Can't wait for Nightcrawler. Have loved Jake ever since Donnie.

Just watched Wick again with Linda. She's not a big fan of blood and violence, and cursed me out big time during "the scene". But when all was said and done she gave it a 9 out of 10.

In John Wick the russians call him "Baba Yaga" all the time, which is supposed to mean "Boogeyman", but is actually a type of witch from eastern european folklore and fairytales and is pretty much the opposite of a badass nickname.

John Wick was a 5.5 out of 10 for me. I thought it was pretty absurd in alot of ways.

Finally saw this last night. Really killer movie and Jake was incredible in it. Slimy, creepy, calculating, manipulative, crazy, brilliant, sick, deranged, and strangely kinda likeable, all wrapped up in one character. He reminds me of a young DeNiro with his versatility the past few years.

Glad you got around to watching, about time to rewatch it myself now that it's on Netflix.

Already watched Nightcrawler twice and contemplating a third time.
Such a perfect mix of entertaining story and all around quality filmmaking.
