By god, "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" is absolutely amazing!
Loved everything about it and there was more than enough rhyming to satisfy me. I think I'd have still loved it if it somehow didn't rhyme at all. Brilliant stuff. I'll have to check out more from Eliot.

A few years ago I woulda said D H Lawrence. In another time I woulda said Charles Bukowski. But today, here and now... I dunno. Mary Oliver. Han Shan. Ryokan. Li Po. William Blake. Difficult to choose just one.

Ah, so you haven't read "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats" ;) It's more lighthearted (and yes, more "rhyme-y") than some of Eliot's other works, but humorous and enjoyable nonetheless. Very quick read. As much about human psychology as it is about cats.

You were the one who introduced me to Han Shan and Li Po :D

His bio is actually very interesting. He's also created some very unique art; it's actually been compiled into a book, and is now sitting in my Amazon wish list waiting for me to not be fcking broke.
