There's only seven issues? Good time to get in on it then... except I'm not gonna start that without reading Captain Marvel first. I hate comic books.

Seven issues released so far yeah. #8 is coming out this Wednesday.

I just looked up Captain Marvel and she makes an appearance in #14.

Which volume? Volume 7, the one where Carol Danvers takes on the title of Captain Marvel is pretty good, although there's this massive gap after issue 12 where it jumps into some big company crossover event involving Thanos. I'd definitely recommend the first 12 issues though, so great stuff in there.

As for the new Ms. Marvel series, it's pretty good, her first team up is with Wolverine, although I'm lacking the context for what's befallen his character in the most recent issues.

I kind of feel for superhero comics we should really just focus on story arcs, or ones with a shorter run.

Well, it looks like a pretty full house, so I guess it's time to get started with a poll. The voting will last for a day or so. ATM we're only committing to reading the first issue in the series. We can decide how long to give people to read an issue as we go. I'd say a week, but I know album clubs tend to give two weeks, so we'll see. After that time we'll all vote on whether to continue the series or not.

So could a mod please put up the following poll:

Dude I saw Fatale in the comic book store a few months ago and skimmed in I dunno why I didn't buy it either looked good. Also did I miss the poll?

No, I PMed Janz to put the poll up, but I guess he doesn't check his PMs. I just PMed Pete a little while ago, so hopefully it'll be up soon. I think "moderator" must be Latin for "one whose thumbs are inserted far up their rectum".
