That Power Rangers is not worth getting cranky about.

I did that three times? That might have been due to the screwy internet connection. I thought it didn't post the first two times, so I edited it but I think they got combined in the same post. I dunno.

I thought so. That was supposed to be one post with the point stated once.
Still, the casting choices make me question how well they'll further represent/reinvent the original series. As a former Power Rangers junkie in my childhood, I would like my nostalgic tendencies not to be tampered with like most people got with Michael Bay. The costumes look cool, but I hope it's not totally reinvented.

If they didn't reinvent it, it probably wouldn't be good.

I'd love a high budget, high quality adaptation of the Witcher books. Not that utter crap polish tv shat out several years ago, nor the supposedly coming movie (with a small budget and a ton of inexperienced people involved).
HBO should really pick this story up after they're done with GoT. They clearly know how to do it properly and could do the series justice. Especially since the story is just as brutal and emotionally engulfing. Cast Mads Mikkelsen as Geralt before he gets too old. |
