Either way we're on to something brilliant.

In my version, the last level is Disney World on the busiest day of the year.

I'm a Writer! A Video Game Writer, Mom!

You try to come up with a video game concept but just because you're an artist trying to make some money. Half of the game is playing darts on the ceiling with pencils.

This game may exist already (and sort of does in Sims). But I envisage it as GTA, but you have to be normal. You don't run people over and do all the crazy shit. You have missions, which are about finding jobs or looking after your kids. It could be boring as hell, but it could also be the best game ever. It would be an incredible test of patience and suppression. Kill your nutter gamer tendencies, and achieve your goals lawfully.
A few times while playing Saint's Row III I've obeyed the traffic laws for several hours. It takes long as **** to get across town while driving the speed limit and stopping at red lights, but it's surprisingly immersive since you're actually interacting with the city in a normal way. One of my absolute favorite moments of that game was driving around my destination for like five minutes searching for parking. Unfortunately when you honk at somebody they stop and yell at you, so you can't use it to get somebody out of your way. It's ****ing bull****.

I'd like to see a renaissance of the 'bullet hell' shoot 'em up. The genre on home consoles today is practically dead yet remains one of the purest gaming experiences ever created. The sense of satisfaction that comes from learning the systems and exploiting them with style to achieve what once seemed impossibly difficult is palpable:

A homo sapiens genetic engineering game, similar to Dragon Warrior Monsters. You play an immense, superior alien who captures and breeds humans for optimum rarity and specific traits then use those humans for certain tasks on a planet.

As of lately I have been wanting a realistic survival game that isn't based around a zombie apoc. I want to play "Cast Away" the video game.

This, although it would probably be on PC tbph. With Cave seemingly moving away from the genre in favor of the mobile market, I wouldn't be surprised to see a lack of them on this generation's consoles. There does seem to still be an interest in PC gaming in the doujin scene, though, with the more notable examples being Touhou (which is a fantastic series IMO) still going strong and Crimzon Clover: World Ignition getting released on Steam a few weeks ago. Outside of that, the other noteworthy titles that I can think of right now are Jamestown and Ikaruga which, while not being recent at all, got a PC port earlier this year.
