Google's About to Ruin YouTube by Squeezing Indie Labels

@DJCham - That's true but it still annoys me. Mainstream everything is shoved down our throats so hard that the creative freedom of indie artists gets about as much exposure as it would if we lived in a Communist society. (Okay, I'm exaggerating, but still!)

Soo much awesome stuff out there and it gets steamrolled by cookiecutter bull****. Granted it's our fault if we don't look past the cookiecutter **** and find the good stuff, but it's still disheartening.

I'm perfectly fine with it. Those indie labels can go to the loads of other sites that are available to upload videos. This isn't a big of a deal as they are making it out to be.

Yeah all those video sites with just as much traffic as Youtube, like... and then there's... Or the ones that are at least in semi-close competition with Youtube, like... and then there's... Then there's the site that I always go to first when looking to hear a song, which is... oh yeah, Youtube.

It is so easy to shift over to Vimeo. So you can take that weak argument and shove it. They don't have to rely on YouTube in this day and age regardless of the amount of traffic. Indie artist don't even get any sort of front page coverage.
