No way, The watchmen movie was really well done. The only argument you even have against it is the ending but the movie ending works so much better visually than the graphic novel ending. It wouldn't have made sense and they would have had to make the movie even looonger just to explain it right.

Nope, i know where this is going, the graphic novel was better, it didn't do it justice, it's overrated, blah, blah, blah.

i don't care i enjoyed the movie, im not that much of a hipster to scrutinize every little detail they got wrong, i enjoy it for what it is and i enjoyed Watchmen!

btw I watched Watchmen in a movie theater and the sex scene made everybody super uncomfortable.

The sex scene made everyone uncomfortable? and not the big blue penis being flaunted in their faces?

I just thought it was poorly done. That's all. I didn't enjoy it. They hyped me up because it was directed by the dude that did SeVen. I dunno what happened. It just blew. I wasn't crazy for V for vendetta either. I don't think they did Allen Moore any sort of justice.

But V for vendetta is also good.

didn't you get the feels when she finds the letter of the former prisoner of her cell?

That little story to me was so powerful and im glad they made that movie cause that's how i discovered V for vendetta came from a graphic novel.

Same with me. I am glad purists don't get their way. I would have never know that V was a graphic novel also the same thing with Sin City. I ended up buying two Sin City related novels.

I liked Allen Moore's graphic novels better then the adaptations to film that is all..

Thanks for telling me what my argument is Deej :P I don't really know what bothers me about the Watchmen. I liked V don't get me wrong. I wasn't crazy for it though. I feel that Frank Millers adapted works are just done better when it comes to films. That's it.

I only liked From Hell because Johnny Depp distracted me. I had a one track mind during that film. Penis,JohnnyDeppPenis#penisDeppbabies#penis. I couldn't tell you if it did the novel justice or not.

I don't think I remember reading any women sci fi writers. Any recs? I haven't gotten very far in them but I'd definitely say that Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern novels are better than 99% of fantasy out there.

She doesn't consider herself a science fiction writer (she prefers the term speculative fiction) but Margaret Atwood has some great writing chops. I don't know any others though.
