They never even gave V, Caprica, or Happy Town a chance...

Yeah I miss V and wish they would have given it a few more seasons but Caprica can kiss my ass. I felt like that series was so boring and uninteresting. As a big BSG fan, it just wasn't doing it for me.

I only really watched V as a show of solidarity for my fellow nerds. The acting was just so hokey. But the woman who played the alien queen (the one from Firefly) was just too fine.

Yes, I follow her everywhere!

She's also in Homeland.

All superhero movies are rubbish. What's the craze in seeing people in bright spandex and silly underwear runnin' around fighting evil using their 'special' powers. I don't get it. It's childish and tasteless. Same thing goes for vampire/werewolf movies too. Bunch of people runnin' around trying to look cool, deep and profound. Laughable.

Meh, I don't think all superhero movies are awful but I do feel there are way too many of them.

it makes for good action flicks..

Plus you need an alternative to the artsy critically acclaimed movies that not everybody enjoys.
i happen to like both, i don't wish for every movie to be some compelling thought provoking cinematic masterpiece some times i just want to see something stupid and entertaining like Bill & Ted's awesome adventure.

Thirst is Chan Wook Park's best film.

Oh, I know not many will agree with me, the genre is incredibly popular afterall. That's why I posted it here in the unpopular opinions thread.

I think one of the reasons I dislike them is they take themselves way too seriously. The original comic books had an underlining tongue in cheek sense of humour going on, like they acknowledged that people running around planet Earth in silly underwear using magical powers was a bit silly, but the movies have forgotten this.
