I'd chalk the attention to
Goat Simulator up to the fact that we're in that pre-E3 slump. Sure, it's kind of annoying that a dumb game like this is getting more buzz and attention than say something like
The Banner Saga or
Banished but again, it's a game designed for YouTube videos, which is just disguised marketing. You can't really compete with that, but unless the mod scene explodes, I have a feeling the hype for
Goat Simulator will drop this time next month.
