I can't say I liked the film. At all. Pretty ****ing disturbing, gruesome, and just not pleasant. I don't think 5 minutes went by where I wasn't wincing or cringing or just fidgeting from discomfort. But, since that's what the film makers set out to do I have to give them kudos for accomplishing it well. If you're looking for a gory horror film that will turn your guts, this is it. Don't expect to sleep well.

I love that movie but that's completely not the type of movies that are being mentioned in a thread like this.

I had totally missed the bit where he said excluding gore. Still a recommended horror film, if you're into gore.

That aside, Let the Right One In is a good film. More of a drama really. The original is Swedish but the American remake is pretty much spot for spot the same movie just in English. Still quite a bit of gore but a good, eerie horror film all the same.
