I've played on every console starting from Pong, but the game I always wish I still had, and obsessed over as a kid, was Pitfall. I made a map on paper of every single frame, and labored over it for days until finally beating it.

Pitfall - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia!

Other notables:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tank_(video_game)
Missile Command - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

...and most recently:

Max Payne - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

My GF even liked to sit around and watch me play that one, but that's pretty much where I stopped playing video games. Not enough time in the day these days.

I had pitfall for Intellivision and it was alot of fun. I also enjoyed playing Missile Command on the 5200. My mom literally bought me every deck. We even had Colecovision. Wasted youth and such and such.

Intellivison was another one. Lots of buttons on that controller.

Thats it. Kinda goofy but it was so much fun. My favorite game by a longshot was Dungeons and Dragons.

Oh hell yeah! Forgot about that one! It was tons of fun, but I remember after a few goes with the console, playing the real thing was better. Also, that jarred my memory and although it may not have been the most popular pick at the time, Utopia was my after school go-to game for a while:

I never got far in those original NES Zelda games they were so frustrating. I couldn't even deal with it.

The first Zelda game I beat was when it was on SuperNES. A link to the past.

I've been told by other zelda fans not to even bother with the NES ones. I love zelda and all, but I'm not into pointless difficulty.

Yeah the original Zelda is painfully tough at times, and there isn't much reward for all your effort since the since the story is so minimal. I tip my hat off to anyone who has took to the time to actually finish it.
