I think you can check the briefing in the options.

Picked this up about a week after release, played it off and on for about a week or so, and haven't been back to it since. I'm at the point where I've done a couple missions with Trevor and I can't switch back to Franklin and Michael at the moment (which I know isn't even scratching the surface of this game).

Just can't pinpoint why these games never hold my interest. I liked pretty much everything about this when I played it and REALLY enjoyed the one heist I did, but for whatever reason I just don't want to invest my time (even just my time set aside for video games) into this thing.

Same here. Great game while the campaign was ongoing. But trying to just mess around post game is a chore because no matter how trivial your crime, no matter where you are, no matter whether there are witnesses or not, the cops are alerted, and it ain't fun outrunning/hiding from them every few minutes.

I set my car on fire atop a mountain, no witnesses for miles, and the cops were on to me and just appeared on the mountain. It's silly.

best gta i've played. Some compelling missions, great social commentary (as is custom for the series) and some great characters, which make up for a lesser plot than the previous.

I think the world is a lot of fun. Question: I beat the game, don't much care for online..what is there to do? I bought all the properties and all the missions that pop up on the map but am far from 100%.

There are 20 random events to take part in. The Strangers that pop up and there is one more thing that is part of that criteria. Some type of mini-games I believe they called it hobbies.

Edit: Here you go. Just found this list.

Finally got it, totally love it, only complaint is the same one someone brought up earlier, that it seems like the cops will almost always interfere no matter how insignificant or unnoticed the crime, maybe barring one random punchout (my favorite of all crimes). And they seem unshakeable at times. Maybe it's a reaction to previous laxness on the law's behalf, I don't think it was too easy but now they can seem a toootal nuisance for a game that's meant entirely for such debauchery besides in missions.

As I said though, Loooove the storyline, the characters (though Franklin seems the least developed, perhaps because he's the youngest), I feel like I'm so close to done though (Lester said he was going to research Union Depository since Trevor was back) and there's only been like three good heists. Trevor is so damned great. I <3 CA. not cali canada. Also Lamar is hilarious. I love the Friday allusions, really all the characters have some really great referential characteristics and it's fun to connect em.

The cops are pretty easy to shake once you get used to it.

Totally true but you could say the same for cleaning up vomit in the bathroom, but you don't wanna deal with it with unrelenting frequency

That's just an unfair and dumb comparison.
