Judging by the rise of Stalin and Mussolini shows, I think that the Hitler cliche is dying out too.

Anybody else notice how the police in detective shows are incapable of investigating a murder until they've made an attractive display board for it?
I can only presume the initial dialogue in the police station goes like this:- - This is a tough case! - I'm on it, sarge. I´ve already taken a bunch of photos out of their files. - Well done! We're gonna need some more drawing pins. Detective, go buy some coloured tapes too. Let's go pink, yellow and blue for this one. ...And who's got a map haven't cut up yet? Surely that should be the first act of the drama? The police rushing out for office supplies.
