I'm giving this a broad title so it will encompass the next Xbox when Microsoft debuts that (my guess at E3).

Anyways, if you're even remotely connected to the video gaming world you no doubt heard about Sony finally confirming that they are developing a new console, the Playstation 4. While they didn't actually show the console, they did list its specs and some of the new features they've implemented as well as a few of the debut titles. • It won't require a constant online connection
• 8-core AMD "Jaguar" x86-64 with integrated graphics APU
• 8 GB of dedicated GDDR5 memory (no idea what that means)
• built-in 80.211 b/g/n Wi-Fi
• Blu-Ray
• DualShock 4 controller (with a lot of fancy crap inside it)
• It will support Playstation Move
• Newly designed Playstation Eye with two 1280x800px cameras
• Connectivity to the Playstation Vita to be used as another screen
• The ability to play games as you download
• Holiday 2013 launch
• No backwards compatibility
