In the long run I dont think it is more expensive. And plus id rather spend a little more for overall better playing experience.

Exactly. Plus, for me, I am very comfortable with the way a keyboard and mouse feel when playing games. It's relaxing. And our controllers never change, and if they do, we can just change them back.

Will buy a PS4 if anything but not for another year at least. Didn't even know the Wii U was out?

Still the best console I have played. Just keep XBOX for FIFA really.

Yeah, man, it ain't selling well at all. Indeed the situation is dire. Part of me still believes it'll end up doing okay when the big hitters like Mario Kart, Zelda, Smash Bros etc. appear, but who knows, that could just be wishful thinking.

The whole PC gamers is the master race thing is old. PC gamers want to be console gamers so badly that they are all super excited about the Steam Box coming out with that funky looking controller.

No, I will still be around. I take my cellphone or tablet everywhere so I always have it next to me while playing games and check the forums from time to time.

Not sure I understand that statement, I think the only thing PC gamers are envious of is all the attention paid to console gamers. Most multi-platform games are made with consoles in mind and generally a rushed out port that looks and plays like ass is released for PC. If anything I'd say PC gamers are far more interested in SteamOS because of the lack of attention Microsoft has been paying to the PC gaming crowd in favor of the Xbox One and 360. I mean DirectX is literally the only reason I still use a Windows OS, but if SteamOS can rectify those problems, I'll ditch Windows and move back over to Linux in a heartbeat.

As for the Steam Box, I think that particular machine is more for people who want to get into PC gaming, but don't want to deal with the hassle of building and maintaining a PC. I think there's definitely some overlap with PC gamers who would rather play on a larger TV while sitting on a couch, but I don't think the Steam Box was built to directly compete or catch the attention of people who generally go for the already established consoles.
