I could, but then it's only a matter of time before my 660ti is out-of-date. I was absolutely flabbergasted when the recommended GPU for Call of Duty: Ghosts was a 780, that's a $650 card! While I have no intention of playing that game, it does make me wonder what the requirements will be for a game I do care about, like say The Witcher 3. It almost seems like having a PS4 just to play the few AAA games I care about, while letting my PC do most of the work is the better way to go than constantly upgrading my components because I didn't research well enough when I bought my new PC earlier this year.

^That does make sense. Though that's where my original comment came from. I don't have a whole lot of interest in the games that will be released on the new consoles, so i'm good with my PC. Team Fortress 2 has been doing a damn good job at keeping me busy for months / years on end. I'm weird though, because as soon as prices drop or the new consoles become "old", i'll jump on it quick and try it out, that's what I did with the PS3, I wasn't a fan at first, but I got one because I got it cheap.

With Watch_Dogs getting delayed till spring of 2014 there's really no reason for me to buy a PS4 at launch. In fact there's no real reason to buy any new console at launch because you're going to be paying a premium for early access, plus there are bound to be bugs. I mean it took Microsoft 5 years really to make the 360 not die every couple of months and I do recall there being some early difficulties with the PS3.
I'll probably see what Black Friday/ Cyber Monday deals are going on for a PS3 and catch up on the 5 or 6 games that actually interest me and then pick up a PS4 either next summer or during Black Friday/ Cyber Monday of 2014. |

Yeah, I know people who always go crazy on launch day for this sort of stuff, I often wonder where people even get the money to do that. I preordered the Pokemon games, and unfortunately I don't even have the funds to pick them up yet, but my next paycheck will probably be able to cover it. Steam is always throwing up good sales so I feel like I can get enough satisfaction out of the games they are releasing. I'm hoping to get Beyond: Two Souls for PC sometime in the near future, i've seen trailers and it looks fantastic.

I'm so pissed about the whole Watchdogs delay. I was so looking forward to that at launch but I'll have Drive Club and Knack to play and keep me occupied.

Considered pre-ordering a PS4 but none of the launch games appeal to me so gonna wait 'til Dark Souls 2 is released on the current gen by which time I'm hoping it will easier to choose between the XBone and PS4.
