Psx for sure..
to me N64 was just for Golden eye, Smash Bros And Zelda.. i hated the N64 Controller.. >_> it was over complicated and it looked like a spaceship, Worst gaming console i ever bought, it only had a handful of good games |

And what about the original PSX demo disc? What a fantastic thing to include with the console! I don't know how many times I booted that disc to play a demo or watch previews of upcoming games. My favourite was the demo of Wipeout, featuring just the first track, and when I bought the full version, they had slightly changed some details, and of course I noticed right away. Exciting days indeed, when games were still safe from too much input from investors and executives. |

I prefer the Playstation because of the controller, it allowed for a lot more variety in control schemes (Ape Escape, for example, utilized this perfectly) whereas even with the best N64 games the controls could take some getting used to. I can't comment on the game library cause I think both of them have too many amazing games to choose based on that!

Ah, so you did. Well, that makes it even more surprising you prefer it over the N64! Sure, Shenmue and Sonic Adventure were great, but I felt the console was dead almost before I bought it. I could barely find the console in a shop in the first place, and the games selection were very limited in my town. After Sega announced their decision to drop the Dreamcast, I pirated a few games, though, which worked once in a while. Sure, it had more games than N64, but its many coin-op conversions and "cool" games could never compete with N64s Mario + Zelda + Rare. I know many people have a soft spot for the Dreamcast, but for me only the PSP has proven to be more useless.

the problem with the Dreamcast is they didn't promote it enough, that's always been a problem for SEGA, they make great consoles but they don't stand behind it. remember the Saturn? most ppl don't.. yet it had 'Guardian heroes' best beat'em up game ive played.. Sony & Nintendo market themselves WAY better. |

N64 for the absolute classics like Zelda OoT and MM, Super Mario 64 but it was also amazing for all the awesome multiplayer games like Smash Bros, Mario Tennis/Kart and Goldeneye. N64 was great for when buddies where over. I still will break it out when I have some friends over for some Smash Bros.
PSX was more of a single player system, for me at least. You had all those awesome JRPGs like Final Fantasy, Chrono Cross, Xenogears, among others. I cant really pick one over the other; it depends on my mood and what I feel like playing. Good thing I have em both
